Trailer Weigh Pads

The Griffith Elder Trailer Weigh Pads are capable of weighing all types of farm trailer.

The Kit

Each set has three pads, two with ramps for the trailer wheels and one for the drawbar. They are of rugged construction to take the heaviest loads and are built to last in a tough environment.

Simple to Operate

Using the weigh pads is simplicity itself. The pads are positioned on a hard standing or concrete surface so that when the trailer wheels are on the long pads the drawbar may be dropped onto the shorter pad. To take the weight, the indicator is simply plugged into each pad in turn and the weight added into the total memory.

Portability

Portability is a key feature of the system. Each wheel pad is 2.1 metres long and weighs 100 kg and so may easily be moved to another site. There are no electric cables to get damaged as the indicator has its own coiled cable with plug on it to connect to each pad.

The indicator is self contained in a tough carrying case and has its own internal battery for complete flexibility. The digital display shows the weight on each pad and incorporates a totalizing memory. A printer is available as an option.

Factory Calibrated

Each pad has a capacity of 10 tonnes and incorporates two high precision stainless steel weight sensors which are factory calibrated for maximum accuracy. A major feature of the Griffith Elder weight sensors is the all welded waterproof construction to provide reliability and long service life.
