The Griffith Elder Single Axle Portable Weighbridge has been designed to meet the needs of Law Enforcement agencies and other organisations where portability is of prime importance. The platform accommodates a single axle so that a wide range of vehicles can be weighed correctly even though the platform sits on the surface.

To operate a Portable Single Axle Weighbridge couldn’t be simpler. Just plug the platform into the indicator and switch the weigher on. The weighbridge has been factory calibrated for maximum accuracy, so no special setting up is needed. Drive the vehicle onto the platform and let it do the weighing for you.
- Robust, heavy duty platform
The platforms has weight sensors built into it which are robust and waterproof. Since the platforms are designed to be constantly moved, the sensors are particularly designed to be hard-wearing. The weight sensors incorporate the latest WeighTel™ digital technology and are factory calibrated for maximum accuracy at all times.
- Automatic weighing
Weighing a vehicle is a fast and easy operation. As the first set of wheels drives onto the platform, a weight is detected and the weight is calculated and automatically caught into memory. Each set of wheels is weighed in this way, while the weights are automatically put into memory without the operator doing anything.
- Portable
The platform can be lifted either with a forklift or from a small crane. It sits easily on a trailer or flat bed truck for transporting to the next site. The end ramps are built into the platform so there is nothing to assemble before use. The whole weighbridge operates from 12 Volts DC and can be run from a car battery. No mains power is needed which gives maximum flexibility for using the weighbridge in remote locations.
- Recording options
A large external LED display is available for quick and easy viewing of the weights. A traffic light can be used with the large display to tell the driver when to move on and off the weighbridge. The weighbridge can be used with a Griffith Elder indicator or direct to a PC. Full range of Ton-Tel™ software is available.
