The Ton-Tel portable weighbridge has been made so that it can easily be installed on any road surface with the minimum of time and effort. When broken down for transport the heaviest section weighs less than 1,500 kg and so can be lifted by a normal fork lift or truck mounted crane.
Due to the modular design, the portable weighbridge is available in different lengths. The beams which hold the load sensors in place can be used together with platform sections of various lengths to make a platform suitable for every need. Typical platform sections come in lengths of 3, 5, 6 and 7.5 metres, and can be put together in any combination to give the correct length of weighbridge.
Each load sensor beam is made so that no adjustments are needed when setting up, and they are factory calibrated so that no site calibration is necessary. The weighbridge is zeroed through the indicator.
A complete tool kit is provided with every truck scale and no specialist tools or expertise are required to be able to assemble and use the system.
If the weighbridge is being moved regularly, it can be made to pack easily onto a flat deck truck with its own crane, so that lifting the sections and moving from one site to the next is done with the minimum of labour. All parts are clearly marked and easily put together in the minimum of time.
Weight Sensors
The weight sensors are designed to be robust and durable, particularly when being constantly moved. They incorporate the latest WeighTel digital technology and are factory calibrated for maximum accuracy. Each weight sensor is manufactured from stainless steel and is fully waterproof to IP68 standard.
Indicator And Printer
The indicator and printer are built into a tough waterproof suitcase housing for ease of carrying between locations. When the lid is closed the printer is completely waterproof which makes it very suitable for locations with no site hut.
The whole weighbridge operates from 12 volts dc and so can be run from a car battery. Hence no mains power is needed which gives maximum flexibility for using the weighbridge in remote locations.
Wiring to the sensors is all plug-in with quick release plugs which are easily accessible.
