Multi-axle weighbridges

The Ton-Tel multi-axle weighbridge provides an accurate vehicle weighing facility at a fraction of the cost of a full size weighbridge. It will weigh any type of vehicle regardless of its length or the number of axles it has.

Split Weighing

Split weighing groups of axles is an established method of accurately check weighing and is the basis of the Ton-Tel system. Operation of the weighbridge is fully automatic. There is no need for a specialised operator to be present. The driver can weigh the vehicle without even leaving the cab.

Loadcells

The four sensors which detect the weight are shearbeam loadcells that are manufactured by Griffith Elder. The loadcells are made of high quality stainless steel. They are fully welded to seal and protect the gauges. This robust design ensures high reliability, low maintenance and life long service.

Indicators

A range of terminals and printouts are available for use with Ton-Tel weighbridges. The basic terminal incorporates a tally roll printer to give an automatic printout for each vehicle weighed. Ticket details include ticket number, time, date, each weight and total vehicle weight.
